will lead you through comprehensive training programs
covering technique and training in running,
cycling, swimming, strength training and transition skills.

Session descriptions:
Wednesday: SWIM - Sessions include pool and open water swim techniques,
interval/endurance swim workouts, race start and exit strategies and swim/bike
transition practice.
Tuesday: BIKE-
Outdoor cycling workouts with focus on increasing your ability to climb and time
trial. Sessions will include hill repeats, time trial efforts (Southport
location), transition practices. Some sessions will take place on the actual
race courses in
Fairfield and Westport.
Thursday: RUN-
Comprehensive track
workouts at Ludlowe High School in Fairfield. Sessions will focus on improving
your running technique by utilizing running drills, agility/quickness
activities. Bike/run
transitions will also be
offered. All sessions
will conclude with a proper stretching segment.

Open Water Swimming for Triathletes
June 30 to
September 17 2008
Session descriptions:
This is a great opportunity to
conquer your fear of open water swimming!
All sessions are coached sessions
with certified USA Triathlon coaches.
The emphasis will be on technique,
racing techniques, race start, entry and exit, safety and overcoming fear.
Drafting will be introduced for more advanced swimmers as well as intervals
training.
Different groups will be formed
depending on levels.
Optional core/dry land exercises
or yoga on the beach will be offered before or after the swim workout.
In case of inclement weather a run
workout will be offered.

Spring- Swimming for Triathletes

Session descriptions:
All sessions are coached sessions
with certified USA Triathlon coaches on deck.
The emphasis will be on endurance
and speed training to help you get your swimming on track and on the right path
for the 2008 race season.
Optional core/dryland exercises
offered before the swim workout. Just come and ready by 7:30pm on the pool deck.
Video analysis and periodized
workouts will be provided.
Under water video analysis will
also be offered separately.

Winter Indoor Cycling for triathletes
January 8 to
March 18 2008
Session descriptions:
Tuesday: Led by experienced coaches, this program is designed to take the
boredom out of the trainer workouts! Sessions will focus on developing aerobic
base, improving pedal stroke and development of bike specific strength. Tempo
and interval training will also be introduced. The sessions will end with core
and flexibility training to prevent injuries and muscle imbalances.
The program will make your off season cycling training the best ever in a fun
group atmosphere .

Mandatory Equipment: Please bring your own bike, bike shoes and bike trainer.
If you do not own a bike trainer you can

You will also need a front wheel
block/book/board, water bottle, an extra towel and a heart rate monitor.
