Trifitness was created to provide high quality innovative multi-sport training programs and events. We are dedicated to helping people of all ages and athletic abilities get the most out of their sport. Our students gain in fitness, skills and confidence in a fun and positive environment. Our goal with each of student is to understand their individual goals and to work with them to achieve them through a wide variety of personalized exercises - always keeping it fun.


History
Trifitness was founded in 2001 by Paul and Pascale Butcher. Since then the company has built a reputation as one of Fairfield County's leading multi-sport companies having created a number of popular events - such as the SoBe sprint event in Norwalk and Health Net event in Milford - and delivered training programs to hundreds of students.

Meet our Team

 Pascale Butcher  

Pascale is the head coach and co-founder of Trifitness. Having enjoyed a career as a businesswoman and a busy mother, Pascale found her calling as a trainer through wanting to help others share her own love of exercise and fitness. She is a USA Triathlon Level 2 Certified Coach, USATF Level 1 Certified Coach, N.A.S.M. and A.C.E. certified  personal trainer and a successful competitive runner and triathlete member of Team USA . She has been a USAT  All American since 2003.

Paul Butcher

Paul is co-founder of Trifitness. He is an experienced triathlete, interactive marketing executive and entrepreneur. Paul is an executive with Horizon Marketing Group and is currently President of the Coastal Fairfield County Sports Commission.


                                                                                                                                Tony Grabiec  

Tony is a licensed physical therapist, NASM certified and a strong cyclist. He looks forward to helping athletes in preventing injuries and improving their bike splits. Tony began his mountain bike racing career in 1996 and reached the expert level. In addition to mountain biking, Tony has participated in criteriums, road races, biathlons and most recently dedicated his training to triathlons. Tony resides in Fairfield with his wife Kate.

  Daniel Rose 

Dan is our medical director. He grew up in Denver, Colorado and graduated from the   University of Colorado Medical School in 1974.  He has resided in CT for the last 18 years and during that time has been Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery at St. Vincents Medical Center in Bridgeport.   He also has a keen interest in sports nutrition, exercise physiology, and sports injuries.   Dan has participated in both on-road and off-road (Xterra) triathlons for the last few years.  He was Xterra Northeast Age Group Champion in 2003-2005.

Maura Hennessey

Maura is our wonderful swim coach. She has swum all her life and loves to be on deck at our practices and gives orders! She has a passion for swimming and can make anybody faster in the water.

Stephen Charles

Steve is a USAT Certified Level I Coach who began his career in Triathlon on the shores of Honolulu, Hawaii.  He was involved in all sorts of sports throughout his life and he gravitated to Triathlon because of the challenge and the great people he met in the sport.  He now resides in CT with his wife Dani and is an avid age group Triathlete who enjoys racing, training and coaching. He loves to share his knowledge and experience with just about anyone who will listen.

Susan Gold

Susan has been a member of Trifitness for over 4 years and is a competitive runner. She has completed 15 marathons and numerous triathlons. She started practicing yoga 13 years ago and is completing her certificate for teaching yoga this summer. She has taught classes to triathletes as well as adults and children. She is passionate about her practice and how it positively enhanced her training.

Ian Ray

Ian is an All American USAT triathlete, member of Team USA, Hawaii qualifier and Olympic and Sprint specialist. His passion for the sport and his interest in people make him a wonderful coach.

Some of his top races results include:

1. 2005 Wild Dog Sprint 1st overall
2. 2004 NYC Olympic 13th overall 2nd age group
3. 2004 New Eng. Sprint Champs 2nd overall 1st masters
4. 2004 Eagleman ½ Ironman 40th overall 1st age group
5. 2003 Madison Sprint 1st overall

Bill Evans

Bill has been racing triathlon for more than 10years, swim coach and area USAT official. He has a passion for helping beginners and leads our Saturday mornings beginners bike group rides.
