Valentin started swimming at the age of 7 in Brazil. At age 14he was the National Brazilian Cup Series Winner and kept on winning races at a national level until the age of 17.

He has since moved to America and has been coaching and racing for many years. Valentin is a Kona qualifier and Boston qualifier. His success coaching and racing is obvious with so many excellent results from his athletes.

Valentin is an Ironguides Certified Coach and knows how to mix endurance and speed for great race results. He is also a fun and motivational coach with a legendary smile..
