WESTPORT KIWANIS TRIATHLON

1/2 Mile Swim, 5.5 Mile Bike, 2.2 Mile Run
This is a fun family friendly event open to all ability levels. The swim is point to point at beautiful Compo Beach. The shorter bike and run courses are flat through lovely Compo Beach neighborhood streets.
The event is ideal for first time timers, and families wishing to race together.
Awards for age group winners and post race party for everyone will be provided after the race.
The Westport Kiwanis Club has been active donating funds for local charities and scholarships. Here is an example of the funds used for the WEMS, which was a great help for the Westport Community - CLICK HERE.

REFUND POLICY
There is a no-refund policy for the Triathlon.
Weather Policy :
Races are rain or shine unless we determine that race conditions are dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend. If the race is cancelled there will be no refunds. This position is consistent with USAT recommendations and with the protocol of sharing the risks associated with the sport of triathlon. In the event of inclement weather, Acts of God, or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to alter, cancel or eliminate any/all portions of the race. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid including other amenities paid for such as t-shirts, insurance, and online administrative fees. All fees collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies.

Thank you for a great experience for my first race. The morning was a lot of fun. Please thank all the volunteers that worked today and up to today to get everything ready. I will remember this day for the rest of my life. I didn't win my age group or even finish very high but it was a great experience. Thank you so much for the opportunity to do this race. Awesome job on the tri!! Having the bike racks was a big help, everything (course, bike racks, registration) was marked well, volunteers were awesome (they were coming up to us instead of waiting for us to come to them to get body marks and chips).
