We invite you to be part of a wonderful event just for women.

More than just a race, the Trifitness Women Triathlon & Duathlon will provide a supportive environment for women of all ages and athletic abilities.

This Sprint Distance Triathlon & Duathlon is set at Shady Beach in Norwalk, CT. Perfect for beginners and seasoned women athletes. We are excited to add a Duathlon option this year to the race (1.5 mile Run, 11 mile bike, 3.1 mile run.) Great awards, awesome food and a race t-shirt designed by women for women.
Relay teams are available and encouraged!

TeamBrentParts of the proceeds will go to TeamBrent (www.teambrent.com) to benefit directly the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (via the Neuroblastoma Research Fund). TeamBrent was created in 2005 to battle childhood cancer alongside 3 year old Brent who was fighting stage iv Neuroblastoma. Today he is a survivor who has no recollection of his treatment, and his worries are about scoring goals in soccer, not about keeping his platelets up so he can get chemo - but the fight goes on. Brent is living proof that your efforts make a difference. It is our hope that someday no child dies of cancer.

TeamBrentBrent is going to venture into triathlon training doing our camp this Summer. He is a novice but full of determination. As mothers and daughters we should copy his example and try something new this Summer maybe a triathlon, maybe the Trifitness Women’s Triathlon! Please help us raise awareness against children’s cancer and consider racing, for the first time or hundredth time, and maybe raising funds for TeamBrent.

SUNDAY, RACE DAY!
If you registered as a USAT member you need to show a photo ID and your USAT card (if you do not have your card with you at packet pick-up, you will be asked to pay the $12 USAT fee).

If you are not a USAT member you just need to show a photo ID at packet pick-up.
You do not have to pick-up your number and goodies ahead of time, but just make sure to do it before 6am on race day as we will not give it to you after 6am and you will not be able to race.

PARKING FOR RACER, FAMILY, FRIENDS AND VOLUNTEERS
All cars will be parked on the grassy field at Taylor farm off Canfield Avenue. We ask all friends and family to arrive before the race starts at 6:30am to avoid delays and chaos with the bikers starting the bike portion of the event on Canfield Avenue.

Volunteers will be there to direct you on the course and the courses will have bright orange signs with white Arrows.

What is your triathlon story? What brought you to the Trifitness Women's Triathlon & Duathlon? USA Triathlon has issued a set of rules to maintain consistency and order from race to race across the country. The rules include sections on membership, and rules of conduct for swimming, cycling, running, and transition. Also included are special sections on protests, hearings and appeals, and rules modifications for physically challenged athletes.

REFUND POLICY
There is a no-refund policy for the Triathlon.

Weather Policy :
Races are rain or shine unless we determine that race conditions are dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend. If the race is cancelled there will be no refunds. This position is consistent with USAT recommendations and with the protocol of sharing the risks associated with the sport of triathlon. In the event of inclement weather, Acts of God, or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to alter, cancel or eliminate any/all portions of the race. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid including other amenities paid for such as t-shirts, insurance, and online administrative fees. All fees collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies.

Excellent event today, it was a great race! Trifitness has really helped me build confidence and prepare for races this season, today's race was my 4th tri this summer and I'm looking forward to many more. Thank you for what you are doing for women's participation in sports!

Thank you and the rest of the trifitness team for being so supportive and
really helping me be ready for my first triathlon. It was a great experience
and I felt totally prepared, nothing was unexpected. I went from never
having swum more than 50 meters in open water to being confident about my
abilities in , as promised, 8 weeks. The whole race was great from all the smiling volunteers to the welcoming beach finish. I am already looking forward to next year and hopefully a
bunch in between !

I have been thinking about what to write all day. Today was an amazing experience!!! While I didn't place high in the ranks, you should know that all my legs were much faster and stronger than any training run or bike I had done. The other women were SO encouraging and supportive and everything was wonderful! I can't wait for next year!!! I look forward to winter training with you and I hope to do the triathlon next year. Great job today and THANK YOU!
