Our goal in creating what was originally the Norwalk Triathlon was to make the event a special experience for everyone who takes part and to welcome and encourage first time and beginner triathletes of all ages to enter, as well as top triathletes from all over the country. The 2004 event was chosen as the USA Triathlon New England Regional sprint distance championship event. The 2005 event was a part of the New England Junior Triathlon Series with many of the regions top young athletes competing.
